My Photography

Hello beautifuls, I have a slightly different post today but hopefully an interesting one. As some of you know, I took photography for one of my gcse options and so far, loving it! I didn't realise how little photos you would actually be taking though, there's a heap load of analysing and you know, that kind of stuff, but every month or so we get the task of taking our own photos. We all had to pick a chosen theme/topic and of course, mine was makeup!

 For the previous homework, we had to relate them to our chosen photographers and I have to admit, I really wasn't proud of my images but for this weeks homework (its due in on Tuesday) we got to be as creative as we wanted and they just had to be based around our topic! I'm actually so happy with how they turned out, I got Monique to model for me and somehow, she still looks gorgeous with a face plastered with eyeshadow but the real point of this post is I want you guys to tell me your favourite pictures. It would really help me to decide which ones I put forward into my portfolio.

My Week In Pictures ♥

Long time no see. Oops. I'm a bad blogger I know, please don't hate me too much! I've been concentrating a lot on my channel recently but I think it's paying off sooo all is good!

I thought I'd just update you all with pictures, as I'm more of a visual person.

 Possibly the best thing on the planet? I think so. I rediscovered my love for Pop Tarts. My fave flavours being chocolate and cinnamon! You can buy these at Tesco.

 The most OTT nails I've ever had? Yep! I kinda freaking love them though. I used Revlon's Lilac Pastelle, Collection 2000 Nails tip whitener and Barry M Ruby Glitter. POW

I'm starting my own picture wall, YAY! Always thought these looked really cool so I'm putting them up the wall behind my bed. I haven't added to it in a while because it's so time consuming but it's work in progress.

Me and one of my besties (cringe), Eve. This is my new favourite jumper ever! It's from Topshop for £36 but I've literally got so much wear out of it, definitely worth it in my opinion.

Nails of the day: Revlon All Fired Up ❤

Hello beauties!
Today's post will be showing you my current nails. Revlon's All Fired Up is a vibrant classy red. I've always overlooked having red nails because I just see them as boring but I am in love with this colour. I love how glossy the finish is and how it compliments any skin tone. I just wish I didn't have to take it off tonight (school tomorrow!). You only need two coats for an extremely opaque colour and I would say the drying time isn't bad either. This can be found in any drugstore and I think costs aroung £5-6. Out of all the reds I've tried this has been my fave and I would highly recommend it.

The last photo is a bit random but I watched Clueless today and I had completely forgotten how much I love this film. It's like the original Mean Girls. Love, love, love. My nails kinda made me feel like I belong in the film too, isn't Cher just fabulous?

Face of the day: 26th January 2013 ♥

Hello everybody! Ooopsy, it's been a while - I DO have an excuse though. I've been revising for exams but they are thankfully over now, phew!
Today's post is my first ever FOTD. Today was just a typical Saturday for me, filming and then going into town so I went for a neural eye with bright lips. I firstly mixed Revlon colourstay and Rimmel wake me up for my foundation and then  Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer. I set it with MUA Pressed powder.
Next I filled in my brows with the Sleek brow kit, contoured with Sleek face contour kit and applied Benefit posey tint for a pretty glow. As for my eyes I covered my lids with MAC's paintpot in painterly, patted MAC's ricepaper (frost) on the lid and then MAC's copperplate (matte) in the crease. I finished the look with Maybelline gel liner and my fave mascaras, Maybelline the falsies and Collection 2000 skyscraper.
To make this look really pop, I applied MAC's Chatterbox lipstick, a fun bright pink!

Snow day! ♥

Hello girlies, if you live in England I'm sure you already know but.. IT SNOWED! I woke up this morning, checked the school website and screamed, I love snow days. Instead of lying in I decided that I would film for my main channel so I have the weekend free to do whatever (which will mean revising, fab) but I am happy with my new video and it might just be my best one yet!

 I didn't actually get out in the snow until about 2:30. I went out in my onesie and wellies, looking lush! The bunnies even had a hop around, too cute.
I will eventually do some beauty posts, I just love sharing chunks of my day with you all, mainly photos!

Hot chocolate is definitely a must for cold days, as you can see I go all out with whipped cream and cute mugs! Hope you had a lovely day, whatever the weather and if you're in England, making the most of the snow
