OOTD: Faux Fur Gilet

Hello!
This was my outfit on Boxing Day. I love layering up with different textures and clashing colours so this is my typical outfit at the moment. Whilst my Christmas Day outfit was a lot more dressy, I chose for my Boxing Day outfit to be more casual as I was just visiting family.

Winter night in essentials!

Hello beauties!
When this time of year comes around, all the focus is on what to wear New Year's Eve, how much glitter can you pack on your eyelids etc. which all sounds great but what if you're fancying a night in? (Alone, or with the girls!), then here is what you'll need for the perfect Wintery night in.

1.  A good selection of films (the cheesier the better!)
Whether you fancy a comedy, a chick flick or even a horror, depending on whether you want to spend your night laughing, crying or squealing. Personally, I'm a fan of comedies and chick flicks, some of my favourites are The Hangover, Sex and The City (1&2), Confessions Of A Shopaholic, 21 Jump Street, Leap Year, Mean Girls and Clueless. Leave your favourite films in the comments below!

2.  Because who likes having cold feet? I received these cute Christmassy socks for Christmas and they're possible the cosiest socks my feet have ever experienced. (That hopefully doesn't sound too weird). I would say Primark is your best bet!

3.  Light yourself some yummy smelling candles for a relaxing atmosphere. I love Yankee Candles as they do a great range of scents, from dragon-fruit to cinnamon. Just remember to keep an eye on your candles and make sure they're always out before you fall asleep!

4.  Maybe I find choosing my mug more exciting than actually having a drink but my little collection of Cath Kidston mugs are just too pretty! My Mickey Mouse one is rather cute, too! A hot chocolate can be perfect to relax you and warm you up.

5. I love spending time in the bath, with a book (usually a magazine) and my favourite music (I'd recommend The XX) playing in the background. I adore my Lush products and I think a bubble bar is perfect! This is the Christmas Eve bubble bar and it smells divine. From their permanent line, my favourites are The Comforter, Karma and Creamy Candy bubble bar.

6. ICE CREAM! (Or any junk food for that matter of fact) is a New Year's Eve necessity. Might as well eat your weight in calories before the New Year's diet starts. Ben & Jerry's is a favourite of mine, along with a Chinese takeaway and doritos.

Those are my night in essentials! I hope you enjoyed reading this post and liked the photos on my new camera (Canon EOS 600D)

October Wishlist 2013!

Hello everyone!

I've recently become rather addicted to online shopping, well more like online window shopping. This time of the year is definitely my favourite for fashion! I just love the colours, the prints and the textures so as you can imagine, my wishlist is pretty huge right now. I thought I'd share with you some of my current favourites in the shops.

1. MOTO Aubergine Coated Leigh Jeans - £42 Topshop
They're too beautiful to handles. The colour, the cut and the fact they're coated just does it for me. Topshop jeans have always been my favourite because they always fit perfectly and wear amazingly. I need these in my life.

2. Timberland Premium 6 Boot - £160 Office
I've been in need of a good pair of winter boots for a while and I think I've found the perfect pair. In my opinion, better than Doc Marten's. I love how chunky they look and how they toughen up any outfit just perfectly. A definite on my Christmas list.

3. Moth Tube Skirt - £28 Topshop
I think this will be a love or hate item but I can't help but love this butterfly, (or 'moth' as Topshop seem to think) number. I don't know if its the combination of colours, or the shape but this piece is so eye catching and will definitely draw people's attention.

4. Tartan Mini Skirt, Magenta - £32 Miss Selfridge @ John Lewis
Tartan has made a massive come back this Autumn/Winter which didn't really surprise me. Expect this year, there's tartan everything and I freaking love it. This skirt is literally dreamy, paired with a collared shirt, leather jacket and some brogues, it will look unbelievably cute!

5. Carrie Shirt, succulents squared - £20, Monki.com
Again another love or hate. This shirt totally reminds me of looking through a kaleidoscope or maybe its just how things look when you're high? Either way, it's super cool and I love the contrast in colours. Monki have definitely done it for me recently and I would definitely recommend checking them out. I think they really do something for everyone.

Those are my current faves, hopefully I'll be hauling some of them soon!
Did you have a favourite? I'd love to know in the comments :)

OOTD: Blazer Chic

Hi everyone!
Today's post will be another outfit of the day. This morning I received two gorgeous pieces from choies.com to show in a video, however I couldn't help but put them on straight away and show them off here, too. Today I just went to town with Monique and on the way back we photographed each others outfits for our blogs. I will link hers at the end!
My outfit was a little dressier than what I would normally wear to town but I love how this blazer can be dressed up or down. It also adds the perfect pop of colour to my outfit.

Hello beautifuls!
Today's post is a simple outfit of the day. Today was Father's Day and although we didn't go out I wanted to make an effort to look nice! Yesterday I finally purchased the Topshop Joni jeans after feeling like the only earthling who didn't already own them. I'm already in love. I think I may do a video quite soon on how I style them.

Wishlist | June 2013

Hello girlies, today's post is simply a 'What I want, right here. Right now' kinda thing. There is literally A TONNE of clothes and makeup that I am lusting over for Summer right now so I thought I'd give you a little insight into my wishlist.

Does this bikini make anyone else drool? I've wanted something like this for SO long. I think the high waisted bottoms and bustier type top will be so flattering and I may have actually found a bikini I'll feel confident wearing - SUCCESS! It is rather pricey but the print is just so gorgeous, really reminds me of Versace!

A rather boring product I must admit but I've heard so many good things about this one product that I'm getting really excited to purchase this powder! I've literally been wanting it for the longest time but I continued to buy the MUA powders and now my MUA powder has run out this baby is calling my name! However, I'm slightly confused as to whether I will need 'light' or 'light plus'?! Help me.. somebody!

Right. I'm not entirely sure if these will be one of those things that stays on my wish list forever or not, BUT.. I was in American Apparel in London the other day and almost fainted at the sight of MINT DISCO PANTS! As a mint green lover, I got a lil excited however the price is like a punch in the face. Due to me wanting disco pants for so long, I think I may end up making the splurge because they're so damn hot.

I think I have found my IMATS outfit! I saw this in Topshop the other day, tried it on and instantly fell in love . The colours are so gorgeous and perfect for Summer, plus it's really flattering when on! The price isn't too bad so I'm hoping to buy this in the next couple of weeks! I don't doubt I'll be featuring it in a lookbook.

Matt Healy. Need I say more?
Just listen to The 1975 and I swear you'll fall in love.

So, that's just a few things I'm wanting at the moment! If you enjoy these posts, please say and I'll do more!
What are your thoughts on the above? Tell me in the comments!

London!

Hi everyone! I'm not going to go on and on with excuses about it being so long since my last post because if I'm honest, I just wasn't feeling all that motivated but I recently (31st May) went to London with Monique (http://monique-novales.blogspot.co.uk/), who will also be blogging about the day. I had so much fun, shopping, sight-seeing and spending time with my bestfriend and I also took a crap load of photos so why not show you?! I also posted a lot of the day on Instagram. Do follow me! @brittanyrosa

All hail American Apparel (and cry because it's so expensive)

Tried on some rather gorgeous mint disco pants. You will be mine.

Piccadilly. One of my favourite areas in London!

Sneaky AA purchase. Not the disco pants, unfortunately!

My only buys of the day.
-MAC msf in 'soft and gentle' - £21.50
-AA watermelon vest - £26
I am in LOVE with both

I look extremely worn out but ah well, it's cute!

Taking a lil stroll. I love how in sync we are

Tower bridge baby

Hope you enjoyed seeing a few little snippets of my day!
I am fully back to blogging now my exams are over (for a bit anyway), I just need ideas so if there's anything you want me to talk about, do say!
